The art of the circular economy - 40 years of CHEP
A Supplier Day as a reflection of innovation, sustainability and collaboration.
To mark the 40th anniversary of CHEP Germany, the Bundeskunsthalle Bonn was transformed into a space for dialog for the future - and the Kunstmuseum Bonn into a backdrop for inspiring encounters. Together with the client, B.EFFECTIVE developed a Supplier Day under the motto “The Art of Circularity”, which combined knowledge, emotions and entrepreneurial visions in a unique way. CHEP is the driving force behind a global circular economy. Its work shapes supply chains that are sustainable, efficient and fit for the future. We celebrated precisely this claim with an event that was not only thematically convincing, but also set new standards in terms of staging and organization.
A day under the sign of circularity
Our comprehensive consultation process began months before the event: from the development of the content guidelines to the program structure, event design and digital participant management.
The result: a one-day program with top-class keynotes, panels, workshops and an impressive 500 m² in-house exhibition, characterized by interactive formats such as the “Circular Walk”, digital and direct exchange of information - all in the spirit of sustainability.
Speakers from Coca-Cola, Tetra Pak, TÜV Rheinland, Fraunhofer and GS1 Germany, among others, brought together perspectives from business, science and technical development. The moderator and future lifestyle expert, Janine Steeger, not only charmingly guided the audience through the day, but also provided far-sighted impetus with her keynote speech on “Designing the Future”.
The workshop formats co-designed by B.EFFECTIVE turned classic knowledge transfer into a real resonance chamber. Creative methods in small groups led to a lively exchange - with relevant impulses, honest feedback and valuable perspectives for CHEP.
Experience logistics - innovation you can touch
One highlight: the factory tours integrated into the program by B.EFFECTIVE at the CHEP Service Center near Bornheim. Anyone who wanted to could experience live how used pallets are turned into new resources through precise processes - the circular economy in action.
In addition to the transfer logistics, B.EFFECTIVE was also responsible for the complete implementation on site: from coordination with the plant to the safety concept and the individual equipment of the guests with protective clothing to a specially developed guidance system. This made the visit to the plant a safe, smooth and impressive experience - right in the heart of production.
A stylish finish in an inspiring atmosphere
The stage: the Forum of the Bonn Art Museum. The backdrop: Light, music and real encounters. The day ended in this setting - with a fine dinner, thanks to committed partners and a look at what becomes possible when cooperation has an impact.
Unser Fazit: Die Kunst der Zirkularität in der Aktion
With its 40th anniversary, CHEP not only celebrated an anniversary - but also made a powerful statement for the future. We are proud to have planned, accompanied and staged this special day in all its facets. B.EFFECTIVE would like to thank you for your trust - and for a partnership that not only describes cycles, but lives them.
